Enchilada/ Burrito Red Sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbsp chili powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cumin
2 cups chicken broth
1. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add flour to oil and whisk for 1 min. Stir in remaining spices. Wisk for 1 min. Then gradually add in the chicken broth continuing to whisk. Reduce your heat to low and let simmer for 10 min.
2. Use immediately or let cool completely then refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
